This shelter dog named Aster pleads with her eyes, waiting for someone to give her a chance at adoption. Usually, dogs at shelters bark, jump around, or try to get visitors’ attention. But Aster is different. She simply looks at people with pleading eyes that seem to say, “Please help me. I, too, deserve a loving home and a family.” Aster is just one year old and is waiting at San Bernardino City Animal Shelter to be rescued and find a loving family and a place she can finally call home.

This shelter dog named Aster shares a kennel with her furry companion at San Bernardino City Animal Shelter and is waiting to be adopted. She is one year old, and her caregiver shared that she is one of more than 500 dogs currently at the shelter. Unfortunately, more than 50 dogs were placed on the euthanasia list just last week. Aster is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate and deserves a happy life with a loving family.

Her caregiver shared that when a shelter becomes overcrowded, a quiet dog can easily disappear among the many others before the right person ever gets to know she is there. Hence, the video highlights Aster’s bright, adorable eyes and sweet personality in the hope that someone notices her and gives her the life she truly deserves.

The sweetest part is how incredibly calm and gentle she is. Whenever someone visits, Aster looks at them with pleading eyes. She simply sits inside her kennel, looking up at visitors as if hoping someone will hold her paw and never abandon her again.

After all, sometimes a dog doesn’t need words to ask for a second chance. She just needs someone willing to listen with their heart. Viewers flooded the comments with support for Aster, with many hoping she finds her forever human soon.
