The truck’s boot is barely open before Tex and Ranger are already standing on their back legs, waiting to see what dad is pulling out. The Golden Retrievers know Grandma has sent something, and judging by their tails going at full speed, they are expecting a very good gift.

In the video shared by @texandranger, the dog dad finally reveals a huge branch with a few dry leaves still attached. That is the best gift ever, according to them. Both dogs immediately want it, sniffing the branch for about one second before getting their mouths on it. They even head off together, carrying the oversized prize toward the grass.

The video has already picked up more than 5,300 likes, and the reason becomes pretty obvious when dad opens the back of the truck. Tex and Ranger are standing up to see what has come home. Their tails keep wagging as dad reaches inside, and they clearly know this isn’t just some random piece of yard debris. Then he pulls out the branch.

It is big, covered with a few dry leaves, and apparently exactly the gift two Golden Retrievers were hoping Grandma would send them. Dad turns around away from the truck and puts it down on the concrete. Tex and Ranger need almost no time to make a decision. They sniff it briefly, grab it, and start dragging it away from the driveway together.

And the funniest part is how coordinated they are. Both dogs have hold of the same branch, walking backward side by side as they move it toward the grass. There is no arguing over who gets the good end. They just pick a direction and go. The text asks, “Do you think we liked it?” And the answer is pretty obvious to anyone watching.

One viewer gave the brothers official job titles: “Branch manager and assistant branch manager.” Another called their teamwork “synchrobranching,” while someone else simply wanted to know where a grandma like this could be found. A few viewers also noticed the synchronized prancing, which may be the best part of the whole gift.
